Bake a difference day 2012

Over 20 prospective volunteers headed down to the charity to learn how to make the perfect loaf under expert guidance from the staff of the Together Trust's WaTT (Working and Training Together) social enterprise. During the session, volunteer coordinator Sue Lewis, also told them all they 'knead' to know about helping out at the charity's various services.

Sue said; "This year's Make a Difference Day theme was all about skills, and the event really helped to showcase the abilities that are needed to run a charity effectively. Whether you're great with people, numbers or design there's bound to be an area of our charity where you can help out. All of the prospective volunteers were really enthusiastic and the session helped them to see how they can make a difference to our services."
